Annual Events

  • Lutefisk Supper: Our annual supper is held on the fourth Saturday in January.
  • Syttende Mai Flag Raising: May 17th festival activities are held each year at the Dutch Canadian Centre/Home of the Scandinavians. Mark your calendar for May 17th!
  • Sports Weekend: hosted by various lodges throughout Zone 4.

Cultural Skills Program

Solglyt Sons of Norway supports a number of special interest programs that encourage, develop and enhance skills related to Norwegian culture, language, folk art and handicrafts.  Members may participate in the international ‘Sons of Norway’s Cultural Skills Program’ that “provides a framework for learning about traditional and contemporary Norwegian culture.”  Visit www.sofn.com and look under Resources once you have logged in as a member.
